After missing Martin of Theoben at the club opening day he kindly invited me over to view the factory and merchandise on offer. I jumped at the chance and this morning headed over to our main sponsor, Theoben in Sommersham, for what was to be a very interesting trip indeed. Martin was every bit the host and supplied me with a cup of coffee no sooner than I had entered the door and I presented him with a Christmas card from the shepreth airgun club with thanks for all they have done to get us up and running. A guided tour of the factory was next and I was amazed at the attention to detail and the craftsmanship that goes in to all the Theoben rifles. This really is something that has to be seen to be believed so should any fellow club members get the chance to visit then I would jump at it! The rifles had me drooling and I now have my eye on a nice new bit of woodwork for my own Theoben! Martin and his friendly staff made my morning very enjoyable and sorted my FAC .20 MFR with a few tweaks while I was there! Once again a big thank you to Martin and the Theoben staff for giving me an insight in to the birthplace of these fine rifles!
