For a relatively cheap .22 rifle this thing really is superb and is the first tool i will reach for in my cabinet.
It likes to shoot dirty and requires almost no maintenance at all except a quick wipe over after shooting.
The only modifications i have made to it are fitting a brooks trigger kit (around a tenner) which reduced the tigger pull by a nice margin and bedded the action in the stock which is a simple procedure.
Simply to ensure the varmint barrel did not touch any of the woodwork i sanded out the channel with some sand paper wrapped around a socket and then vaselined the acion before dropping it in to a bed of araldite i had spread in the contact surfaces of the stock.
The vasaline ensures you can remove the action when dry and hey presto-it all fits together perfectly!
I went out lamping with it last week and had a superb shoot with 8 full grown rabbits and a nice hare ll taken at 50 + yards and i was only out for an hour!.
Fitted with a SAK moderator the CZ produces a low pitch thud on firing, not much louder than a pcp air rifle.
For anyone considering going for thier FAC i cannot recomend this rifle enough.
I also have a .17 Varmint and have done the same mods to it. Again this is another superb tool although a lot louder!
